Dr Manish Bansal is a graduate from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. After that, he went on to do his Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics from the prestigious Central Institute of Orthopaedics, Safdarjang Hospital,New Delhi; one of the biggest orthopaedic departments in the country.
Following the completion of his post graduation, Dr Manish Bansal went to U.K., where he did M.R.C.S. from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, followed by Diploma in Exercise & Sport Medicine from the same college. He did Fellowship from Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust, Birmingham in Arthroscopy, Sports Injuries & Joint Replacements. There, he learnt the art & science of minimally invasive surgeries of the joints including meniscal surgery, cartilage transplant, ligament reconstructions & Joint Replacements. He had a wide exposure to various sports injuries as he was involved in the management of some of the most elite sportsmen of U.K. Then, from U.K., he went to Australia where he did another Fellowship from Sportsmed, Adelaide in Arthroscopy, Sports Injuries & Joint Replacements including Revision Joint Replacements.
He is now running state of the art Arthroscopy & Joint Replacement unit at the Genesis Hospital under the agesis of “The Joint Clinic” where he is providing the latest treatment in the field of Arthroscopy, Sports Injuries & Joint Replacements. He has special interest in Knees & Shoulders. He is also providing his technical expertise to various orthopaedic centres in and around Punjab in the field of arthroscopy
