Genesis Fertility and Surgical Center pioneered the art & science of fertility and management under the able guidance of Dr. Sonia Kamboj.
Dr. Sonia Kamboj is heading the infertility treatment wing at Genesis Fertility and Surgical Center and has an experience of more than 15 years in the field of infertility. A graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, she completed her post graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Lady Hardinge Medical College and associated Sucheta Kriplani & Kalawati Saran Hospitals. She was a university topper in Delhi University and was awarded a Gold medal for being the best postgraduate in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Delhi University. Dr. Kamboj cleared her Diplomat National Board (DNB) in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the same year. Dr. Kamboj was trained n IVF and reproductive endocrinology at the Institute of Reproductive Medicine (IRM), Kolkata.
Dr. Sonia Kamboj began the IVF/ICSI program in the year 2003 and pioneered the science and art of assisted reproductive techniques with an ever-improving results graph. With an experience of more than 5000 IVF cycles, Dr. Kamboj gave a final shape to her dreams of setting up a state of art fertility center in the name of Genesis Fertility & Surgical Center. Dr. Sonia Kamboj has groomed the center into a one-stop solution for all aspects of holistic infertility treatment in a transparent, warm and homely environment with an assured professional and technically advanced treatment at the same time.
Now Genesis has entered into new premises at 607-L, Mall Road, Model Town, Jalandhar which boasts an aesthetically attractive ambiance equipped with all modern facilities & equipment. All this under the same leadership of Dr. Sonia Kamboj ensures your treatment at Genesis a memorable experience.
Dr. Sonia Kamboj belongs to a family with a strong academic background. Father Dr. Ramji Lal Kamboj retired as principal Dyal Singh college Karnal. He had been a legend in his field of work. Mother, Mrs. Satya Kamboj was a professor of zoology but sacrificed her carrier for making the future of her beloved daughter, Dr. Sonia Kamboj reciprocated by bringing laurels to her parents.
Recently Dr. Sonia Kamboj was awarded Pioneers award of upper north India for her excellent contribution to the field of medical sciences and infertility practice.
Dr. Sonia Kamboj holds the vision of starting an advanced training center both for Clinical Embryology as well as Fertility Enhancing Laparoscopic surgery.
Apart from her clinical work and family responsibilities she has a strong desire for a well organized and meaningful service for society. She is very sensitive to the problems of underprivileged women and children. Many projects for the same are on the cards and she is very keen to give her dreams a shape in the near future.
