Andrology laboratory is necessary for the collection and analysis of male reproductive fluid called semen from the male partners. It is also essential for performing certain procedures namely ICSI that is Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection and other IVF procedures. The medical speciality that deals with men’s health including fertility issues of men are called Andrology. The Andrology Laboratory’s staff collects and analyzes semen specimens from male partners as well as the performance of the ICSI procedure.

They also receive and prepare frozen partner and donor sperm from sperm banks. Andrology laboratory is also useful in the storage of a partner as well as donor sperms obtained from sperm banks.

What is it?
A 3D ultrasound scan can show you images of your baby while a 4D ultrasound scan helps you to see the moving image of your baby in your womb similar to that of a live video, using high-frequency sound waves.

In a 4D ultrasound scanning you can see what the baby is doing at that moment, for example, if the baby is smiling or yawning, it will be visible to you which is pretty exciting.

4D ultrasound is not commonly required as a normal ultrasound it is mostly shown due to a special request from the mothers or if your doctor recommends it. A 4D ultrasound scan is usually done between 27 to 32 weeks of pregnancy.

What is Recovery rooms?

Recovery rooms as indicated by the name are specialized rooms where the patients are kept so that they are able to regain their consciousness after surgery. In surgery, anaesthesia is used so that patients do not feel the pain and, in the recovery rooms the patients are taken care of so that they recover well and in time. This is the reason as to why the recovery rooms are also referred to like a post anaesthesia care unit.

Donor oocytes is now a well accepted mode of treatment for patients with difficulty in

producing healthy eggs due to varied reasons. Proper education followed by counselling, availability of healthy donors and privacy are the key issues which are professionally handled at Genesis.Strict matching of

donor and patient parameters as well as proper implementation of government rules and regulations is ensured

It is standardised procedure now being done all over. We follow the strict protocols and indications. The results are equivalent to the international standards. Sperm bank facilities are available. it includes inseminating

washed and concentrated husband/donor semen directly into uterine cavity.

Genesis lab has been freezing oocytes for all those patients who are keen to postpone their pregnancy for personal or medical reasons ( Patients who have to undergo chemotherapy).

Testicular sperm aspiration is done under local anaesthesia and along with hormonal assessment, makes the most important investigation for azoospermic males and patients with spinal injuries. Backed with ICSI facility it is a miracle treatmentfor azoospermic patients with viable testicular sperms.
